About us
Northglenn Ambulance is a Colorado Non-Profit ambulance service.  We were founded in 1963 by the citizens of the area which would soon be incorporated as the City of Northglenn a suburb of Denver.  Although our company has grown over 750% during the last 4 decades the City of Northglenn remains the home to our headquarters.

In 1994 our service area expanded outside of the city boundaries of Northglenn.  We currently have 6 stations throughout Adams and Denver Counties.  Northglenn Ambulance is the primary 911 contract provider in the City of Northglenn and the City of Commerce City.  In 2004 we began providing BLS services to Denver Metro Health Facilities.

Community volunteers provided oversight and operations for our company until the end of 1989 when our first paid staff members were introduced.  Operational goals are now met utilizing the skills and dedication of both career (career opportunities) and volunteer (volunteer opportunities) staff members.

Our Board of Directors is composed of community volunteers.  The Board sets company objectives which are then developed by the administration team and implemented by the staff members.

Accredited by CAAS
(Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services)

Accreditation signifies that our service has met the “gold standard” determined by the ambulance industry to be essential in a modern emergency medical services provider. These standards often exceed those established by state or local regulation.
